Diego Levatto

BIO

What was simply just a hobby eventually became a massive lifestyle. 15 plus years later the Pioneer DJ and Producer who many back home knew as (Razzo) is based in LA where he holds a deal with multiple releases on Dynamix Recordingz, SikByNature and Collective Records. He began his venture many years ago as a drummer in a number of local bands to include his frequent gigs with RWD Music established back in 1973. RWD Music is where he first began dj-ing. The name Razzo was discovered in the backyard of Eric Chavez’s rage over 15 years ago working a guest spot with Luna’s Disco. Diego Levatto began his career mixing anywhere he could play for people regardless of the size. For Diego, even if it was not the most fulfilling gig, he still managed to rock it out quickly earning a street credit for throwing down hard. From tours in Mexico to Features with Furia Musikal Mag in DF... He began doing shows internationally with names like RBD, Fey, Belanova, Alessandra, Mana, Maria Jose and others. He was no stranger to success as he began editing lots of (Latin Pop) Records for International stars at the height of thier careers. As a highly influential DJ in the local scene, he began dj-ing less and less in the local spots then moved onto traveling, leaving room for his name to grown in a number of paths. With a few projects pending like: Luz Maria, Damien Slinger of Holland, Mr. Jay of The Netherlands, collabos with Stereoshock of Jersey and his latest monsters with Chris Roxstar of Vegas... The highly underrated Producer and DJ Diego Levatto quickly made it a point to take Production into a whole new level. After a 5 year legal strectch, Diego took a brief hiatus that lead to his West Coast detour where he uncovered a new passion for music and a more than epic opportunity to crack LA wide open. As a Breeding-Ground for EDM he began booking shows with Local Frats and college events in LA, Phoenix, Denver, Miami and Vegas to name a few... giving birth to The UNITY SESSIONS worldwide.

Dame Vida (Dutch Mix) - Diego Levatto and Mr Jay Featuring Luz Maria which was originally brought to life in Holland, after the initial (Release) of Arturo Leyva‘s version released on Fonozintas of Fresno. The Remix which Diego dropped would Feature Luz Maria over a Dutch Beat combined with a Dubstep Breakdown championed by The International POP sensation over her debuting EDM Single. As a secondary Single on the (PARADISO DEL AMO) EP Dynamix Recordingz also released I DONT CARE - Diego Levatto Featuring Luz Maria (Original Mix.) This Mix was released to include two other re-rubs and a Progressive Mix which leaked on Vibedeck. Among these releases a Mr. Jay Exclusive leaked aswell. In 2012 Diego Levatto teamed up with The Lightway from Holland, Chris Roxstar of Vegas and Anthony Segree of London to sketch out the plans for JETSET which would Feature Luz Maria a second time. This fresh EP Release included Jetset - Diego Levatto and Lightway Featuring Luz Maria (Original Mix) including: Remixes by Chris Roxstar and ALR Music. Shortly after... Roxstar and Levatto unleashed the Single which would give birth to a whole new line of work and a #2 Ranking in Europe. The Single BIG GUNNS ANTHEM - Chris Roxstar and Diego Levatto Featuring MC I See hit Beatport via COLLECTIVE RECORDS on 2/11/13 marking the start of a new year and one vicious tour schedule. Big Gunns Anthem made its way up in the charts on the 538 Demo Duel and also created a bit of a buzz on the 2012 Spinnin’ Records Promo Pool where it originally leaked.

From SXSW to Spring Break, we anticipate a huge set as Diego headlines the main stage. For Diego Levatto, a little secrecy, it seems, can go a long way. He is currently working on his Spring Break Edits says, a close insider to the DJ. He embarks on yet another big one scheduled to leak right before the Summer of 2013. In an interview with IDMR Diego Levatto promised South Padre an epic Spring Break for 2013. Get ready for lots of your favorite records and producers... Diego Levatto style! In addition Diego‘s 1129 Original Mix will probably be leaked in Austin and South Padre Island along with more shows to be announced in the Texas area.

Essentially, Dynamix Recordingz is all about getting away from the idea of talking about music in order to show what it is all about. For Diego, having a number 2 record on the 538 Demo Duel and Spinnin’ Records is a huge milestone in Europe. Diego is all about letting the music work on its own merits, and letting the people in on something bigger than words in a song. For the young Producer, it is far from over. His plans involve the Beatport Top 10 and a seat on next years Top100 via The DJ Mag. His set certainly reflects hard work, massive preparation, and hours of Pre Production. The man is all about playing big records, energy, moving the crowd and interacting vibes. Many can agree he is very humble when it comes to his view on music. His show is all about the music and the people. He is devoted to the raging frenzy and anyone who has seen his set live can attest. He fits right into that dj booth both production-wise and performance-wise.
